Virtual Education Center
59th Medical Wing’s Virtual Education Center provides accurate medical and health information to our patients. It gives our providers the power to create personalized dashboards and share related health and medical information by video, audio, and web links.
Patients have access to nearly 50,000 educational resources, covering 60 medical topics from over 230 organizations. The digital platform is accessible from any mobile device or computer with internet access and integrates with DEERS and DMDC for a seamless experience.
Providers can send factual medical information directly to patients after appointments to aid in recovery or improve their overall health. Patients can also research their medical issues before appointments, ensuring the quality of the appointment and its outcome.
The VEC is available to providers and patients in 59th Medical Wing's Gateway Bulverde Clinic, Randolph Clinic, and Reid Clinic.
