Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic

The Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic (WOMC) provides comprehensive care for active duty service members, including Guard and Reserve members on active orders.

Services Provided
WOMC manages outpatient health concerns and duty-related concerns, such as:
 
*         Profiles (duty, mobility, and fitness restrictions)
*         Shaving waivers
*         Referral request/medication renewals
*         Deployment waivers
*         Convalescent leave/quarters

Walk-In Services are limited to first come, first served. Patients will see a Registered Nurse or medical technician.

Walk-in Services hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday 9:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Walk-in Services:
*         Treatment for Sore Throat
*         Pregnancy tests
*         Urinary tract infection (UTI) evaluation for WOMEN ONLY. Men require an appointment with their PCM
*         Cryotherapy services (wart removal) Member must have a consent on file and documentation stating the # of sessions.
*         Blood pressure check (3-day or 5-day check recommended by PCM)
*         Injections such as Vitamin B12,Testosterone and Depo-Provera (previously established with a prescription)
*         Suture and staple removal *Documentation is needed stating when the sutures are to be removed*
*         Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing

Acute Appointments:
*         Acute appointments are for non-life-threatening illnesses. Please call the Consult and Appointment Management Office (CAMO) at 210-916-9900 to request a same-day appointment, if available. If acute appointments are unavailable, members may visit the Family Emergency Center (FEC) or utilize TRICARE network urgent care centers with authorization by calling the MHS Nurse Advice Line at 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273) and select option 1. You must receive a prior authorization to go to an urgent care or you will incur a bill. If needing to be seen urgently (non-emergency), search to book appointments online via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.
 
If the issue is a threat to life, limb or eyesight, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
 
Routine Appointments
Routine appointments are for present illnesses not causing severe symptoms.

For example:
*         Follow-up care for chronic issues
*         Referral requests
*         Medication concerns
 
Routine appointments may be booked by calling CAMO at 210-916-9900 or through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.
