Health Clinics

Optometry

To schedule or cancel a routine eye exam please contact the Consult and Appointment Management Office (CAMO) at 210-916-9900, option 1.

We are an active-duty clinic; however, will see active-duty dependents, retirees, and retiree dependents with space availability. Appointments are booked using the CAMO line. If it has been approximately 12 months or more since your last optometry visit, most issues will be considered as routine eye exams and booked using CAMO line.

When arriving for your eye exam please bring all eyewear, to include contact lens’ and related information if you are a current user. Active-duty GSU or retirees needing to acquire military issued spectacles and already have a valid prescription do not need to schedule an appointment to place order.

For ocular emergencies to include an eye injury, sudden loss of vision, sudden blurry vision or any other emergency, report directly to the emergency room.
