Col. (Dr.) Chad Hivnor, 59th Medical Specialty Squadron laser medicine chief, applies a salve to the burned skin of retired U.S. Army Capt. Katie Blanchard after surgery Sept. 6, 2019 at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
