59th Medical Wing Labor Day Hours

By 59th Medical Wing Public Affairs

The Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center and Randolph Medical Treatment Facilities will have limited services available Aug. 30. Our primary care clinics, such as Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatric, Randolph’s Ancillary Services, including the pharmacy, and Behavioral Health Optimization Program, as well as our Gateway Bulverde Family Practice Clinic, located at the intersection of Highway 281 and Overlook Parkway will remain open for same-day appointments. All specialty clinics will be closed.

For medical emergencies, dial 911 or visit your nearest emergency department. As a reminder, the WHASC and Brooke Army Medical Center Emergency Rooms are open 24 hours a day. For non-urgent medical questions, the Nurse Advice Line offers nursing advice by phone, chat, or video and can be reached at (800) TRICARE (800-874-2273). Non-active duty patients may visit your nearest urgent care center without a referral for urgent medical concerns.

WHASC and Randolph main pharmacies will be open on Aug. 30. However, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland and Randolph satellite pharmacies will be closed from Aug. 30 – Sep. 2 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Please consider bringing in prescriptions or ordering refills for pick up prior to Aug. 29, since the day before a holiday is usually extremely busy and results in longer than normal wait times.
