59th MDW adjusts pharmacy services and hours

The 59th Medical Wing is continuing to make several precautionary adjustments to services to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases and ensure healthcare professionals and resources are poised to support an increased need for acute patient care. Patients should expect to see the following changes regarding pharmacy hours and prescription drop off and pick up services. 

Until further notice, Ancillary Services (Lab & Pharmacy) operating hours will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

JBSA- Randolph Satellite Pharmacy
 Hours of Operations:
 Monday - Friday  8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 ** Available for refill pick up only **

JBSA-Randolph Clinic
 Hours of Operations:
 Monday - Friday  8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For hard copy/paper prescriptions, follow the below instructions for drop offs and pick ups:

◾ Drop off paper prescriptions at Randolph Clinic Pharmacy drop box table
◾ Complete the drop off form located on the table
◾ Patients will receive a text when their prescription(s) is ready
◾ Proceed back to the Randolph Clinic Pharmacy for pick up

For electronic prescriptions from network providers, follow the below instructions for pick ups:

◾ Go to Randolph Clinic Pharmacy drop box table
◾ Complete the drop off form located on the table
◾ Patients will receive a text when their prescription(s) is ready
◾ Proceed back to the Randolph Clinic Pharmacy for pick up

JBSA- Lackland Satellite Pharmacy 
Hours of Operations:
Monday - Friday  8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

For hard copy/paper prescriptions, follow the below instructions for drop offs and pick ups:

◾ Drop off paper prescriptions at Satellite Pharmacy drop box table
◾ Complete the drop off form located on the table
◾ Patients will receive a text when their prescription(s) is ready
◾ Proceed back to the Satellite Pharmacy for pick up

For electronic prescriptions from network providers, follow the below instructions for pick ups: 

◾ Activate new prescription from Network provider by calling 210-292-8415
◾ Patients will receive a text when their prescription(s) is ready
◾ Proceed back to the Satellite Pharmacy for pick up


Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center Pharmacy 
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday  7 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

For new prescriptions, follow the below instructions: 

  • Activate new prescriptions from clinic providers by calling 210-292-7970 or 210-292-5411
  • Patients will receive a text when the prescription is ready
  • Proceed back to the WHASC Pharmacy for pick up


Gateway Bulverde Operations
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

For hard copy/paper prescriptions, follow the below instructions for drop offs and pick ups:

  • Drop off all new prescriptions (hard copy or electronic) from network or clinic providers at pharmacy screening table
  • Patients will receive a text when your prescription is ready
  • Proceed back to the Gateway Bulverde Pharmacy for pick up

For electronic prescriptions from network providers, follow the below instructions for pick ups: 

  •  Activate new prescriptions from Network providers by calling 210-292-0122
  • Patients will receive a text when your prescription(s) is ready
  • Proceed back to Gateway Bulverde Pharmacy for pick up

Refills -- WHASC, Satellite, Gateway Bulverde

  • Pick up at location you selected:  WHASC, Satellite or Gateway Bulverde
  • Commissary location closed
